What is a Personal Cash Advance?
Cash Australia provides small loan advances on your income over a short term. The repayments are spread over four weeks.

How much can I be advanced?
The amount that can be advanced to you will be determined by your income, credit worthiness and your capacity to repay within the four weeks repayment period.

How will I receive the advance?
Cash Australia will deposit the Personal Cash Advance directly to the bank account that you nominated as receiving your income, using the account information provided by you in your application.

How quickly will I receive my Personal Cash Advance?
Once your application has been approved and you have signified your acceptance by return e-mail and faxed your completed Direct Debit Request form (if required) to Cash Australia, the Personal Cash Advance will be deposited to your account usually within a few hours during business hours or on the next business day.

How do I re-pay the Personal Cash Advance?
When you accept the Loan proposal Document, you are required to fax a completed, signed and dated Direct Debit Request form to Cash Australia, this gives Cash Australia the authority to debit your bank account on the dates agreed for the amounts agreed in the contract.

How are my re-payments calculated?
Once your Personal Cash Advance has been calculated, Cash Australia will add the service fee and other fees and charges as set out below to determine your total debt. This total debt will be divided by your pay period (weekly = 4, fortnightly = 2) to arrive at the total for each re-payment.

What fees apply?
The following Fees and Charges will apply to each Personal Cash Advance as noted below.

Service Fee: Calculated at 25 cents for each dollar advanced
Establishment Fee: $15.00 for each Personal Cash Advance
Joining Fee: $20.00 annually.
Deferment Fee: $15.00 for each seven days deferred. (maximum of one deferment permitted for any Personal Cash Advance)
Returned Fee: $25.00 in bank charges and administrative expenses for each payment returned or dishonoured by your financial institution.

Collection & Recovery: All collection and recovery costs will be borne by the customer.

What else will happen if I miss a re-payment?
Under the terms of the agreement you will become liable to repay the entire Personal Cash Advance, all the fees and charges due plus all penalties which are applicable, immediately. We encourage you to contact Cash Australia immediately to make alternative arrangements for re-payment. Cash Australia shall at their sole discretion attempt to collect by direct debit unpaid payments and charges after the agreed due date until all payments are made.

Can a scheduled re-payment be deferred or delayed?
Under most circumstances a scheduled re-payment can be deferred or delayed if the request is received by Cash Australia at least two (2) working days before the expected payment and Cash Australia replies with the varied re-payment schedule at least one (1) day before the expected re-payment. Note! Not all requests for deferment or delay of a scheduled repayment will be accepted.

Ensure to include your name, logon ID and contract number and the due date of the payment that you are requesting to be deferred.

What will happen if a payment is not made and an arrangement is not put in place!
If you default on the repayment of the Personal Cash Advance then your account will be forwarded to our Debt Collection Agency for recovery, this may result in legal action being instigated.

It is the policy of Cash Australia to list any defaulting accounts with a Credit Reporting Agency. This listing will remain on your file for a period of 5 years and may affect any future credit application with any other form of credit provider.

You will be responsible for the payment of any additional costs and fees incurred as a result of this action.
